There are lots of different types of wedding photo albums to consider today. The choice for you will be determined by your budget. For couples on a large budget, we recommend flush-mount albums, they offer the most spectacular way to arrange and display your wedding images. For couples who have a small budget, we recommend self-mount albums that you can designed yourself using easy to use web based software.

Different Types of Wedding Photo Albums Available Today

FlushMount Albums
Flush mount wedding photo albums arecrafted with hard covers and "board type" pages that will not bend. The photosHare dry mounted on cardboard to lay completely flat and extend across the entire page. In the opinion of the author, this type of mounting combined with high quality printing makes flush mount wedding photo albums a great choice.

"Magazine-Style"or "Digital Montage" Albums
"Magazine-style" refers to the designstyle inspired by fashion magazines, but depending on the designer, the style of each wedding album will be different. This layout is commonly referred to asdigital montage and is designed on the computer using custom or template generated images. Flush Mount Wedding Photo Albums are usually designed in"Magazine-Style".

Digital Albums
Digital wedding photo albums arewedding albums that display digitally printed photos. As with flush mount wedding photo albums, designers have the ability to create special effects suchas transitions or faded edges and can use several photos on one page creating the "magazine-style" layout. Sometimes, the term "digital wedding photo albums"is used synonymously with "flush mount wedding albums" even though, technically a digital wedding photo album does not necessarily need to be "flush-mounted".

Coffee Table Books
Coffee table wedding books are usually oversized, expensive, and usually an illustrated book suitable for displaying on a coffee table for guests to view. The quality of coffee-tablebooks depends on the type of paper being used.

Storybook Albums
Storybook wedding photo albums have photos which are placed in chronological order and tell a story about the event as shown in the photos. Any wedding album, no matter whether "flush-mount" or not, can be a story book wedding album.

Matted Albums
Matted wedding photo albums are albums with recessed frames, in which each photo is hand-mounted. The photoshare digitally or traditionally printed and can also be changed also after completion of the album. Matted wedding albums are often referred to as "traditional albums", because the new flush mount wedding albums are commonly regarded as newer and modern.

Self-MountAlbums
The most common form of a traditional wedding photo album, self-mount wedding albums are created with photos which are manually mounted and can be arranged and rearranged several times throughout the life of the photos. These albums are easy to construct, but do not always have the ability to endure long term.
